HostGator Getting Started

📄️ Chargebacks - What is it?

A chargeback is a process by which a customer disputes a transaction with their bank or credit card provider, typically due to fraud, an error, dissatisfaction with the product or service. When a chargeback is initiated, the funds from the transaction are reversed from the merchant’s account HostGator and returned to the customer. Chargebacks are meant to protect clients from unauthorized or faulty transactions, but they can be costly for merchants, as they often involve fees and may negatively affect their reputation or ability to accept future payments.

📄️ Third-Party Design and Script Support

At HostGator, we pride ourselves on our dedication to customer service. HostGator agents are highly trained specifically for our server environments, including troubleshooting common server issues, email problems, and other basic server-related issues. 📄️ What is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

SEO or Search Engine Optimization is getting site traffic from having high search rankings on selected keywords that are commonly used with search engines such as Google and Microsoft. Although the public doesn't know the search engine's recipe for finding a site, there are tried and true methods to boosting your search engine results so that your site can get more visitors from search engines.
